Obituary: Karen B. Capute, 71, of Fairfield

Karen B. Capute, 71, of Fairfield, beloved wife and soulmate of Larry C. Capute, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 3, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Born in Madison, OH the daughter of the late Allen and Ruth Barr, she had been a Fairfield resident for over 35 years.

Karen retired from Time Warner Cable as an executive secretary. Following her retirement she volunteered at Operation Hope in Fairfield. She always loved being outside and looked forward to her frequent walks with her husband. Karen was a devoted wife, mother and daughter and will be sadly missed.

Survivors in addition to her husband Larry include two beloved sons, Christian and Brian Dulaney and four loving grandchildren, Luke, Colin, Emily and Bay Lynn Dulaney. She was predeceased by her brother, William Barr.

Friends may greet the family Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Operation Hope, 636 Old Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824.
