Both in Fairfield and Mystic, Karen loved to spend her free time in her garden, designing different shaped flower beds and always experimenting with new perennials and shrubs. She was such a talented artist and family and friends would marvel at the beautiful cards she made with dried flowers, often from her own garden.
She thoroughly enjoyed her home, choosing décor and furnishings with an eclectic flair. She loved to relax with a good book or a challenging crossword puzzle. In the evening, she would shine with nightly Jeopardy. She loved animals and her pets were always a special part of the family.
