Obituary: Kevin Michael Doyle, 32
He was raised in Fairfield, where he attended Fairfield Country Day School, Greens Farms Academy and Fairfield Ludlowe High School ('09).

It is with unbearable sadness that we announce the sudden death of Kevin Michael Doyle on October 17, 2023. He is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Wendy Doyle; twin sister, Emily Doyle; older brother, Matthew Doyle; sister-in-law, Lindsay Doyle; nephew, Oliver Doyle; and niece, Scarlett Doyle.
Kevin was born in Bridgeport on April 19, 1991, seven minutes before his twin sister Emily joined him in this world. He was raised in Fairfield, where he attended Fairfield Country Day School, Greens Farms Academy and Fairfield Ludlowe High School (Class of 2009). He graduated from George Washington University in 2013 and a year later, moved to Paris where he lived for two years and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu. He would later live in Washington DC, Boston, Miami and most recently, New York City.

His strong passions included food, wine, traveling and fishing with his brother Matt. He adored his friends from different chapters of life and felt such happiness when spending time with them.
As a music lover with diverse tastes, he could (and often would) belt out every word of Book of Mormon, Little Shop of Horrors, or his idol, Ed Sheeran.

Kevin founded and ran his own consulting firm which provided investment opportunities, strategic planning and management advice for new and existing food and beverage ventures. He also invested in a number of restaurants and was a partner at the award-winning DC restaurant, Tail Up Goat. As a board member of World Central Kitchen, Kevin was also involved in raising awareness and membership for this and other organizations, along with attracting new and young social entrepreneurs from within the DC food scene.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony for Kevin will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023 with visitation from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m.and a service from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Rd. in Fairfield. A post-service reception will follow from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Archie Moore’s, one of Kevin’s favorite places to eat wings.
