Marilyn was the Secretary in the Tax Collector and Tax Assessor's office for the Town of Fairfield prior to her retirement.

Marilyn A. Adams, 80, of Fairfield, the loving wife of the late Philip C. Adams, Jr., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Milford. Born in Callicoon, NY to the late Arthur and Anna Buddenhagen, Marilyn was the Secretary in the Tax Collector and Tax Assessor’s office for the Town of Fairfield prior to her retirement.
Marilyn loved gardening and was a member of several garden clubs. She also loved her Golden Retrievers and spent many hours with them. She also volunteered at the Fairfield University Regina Quick Center.

She is survived by her loving family: her two children and their spouses, David & Janice Adams and Donna & Dennis Gallo, both of Fairfield; her sister, Jeanne Meyers of Newtown; her cherished grandchildren, Brian and Heather Adams, Katherine (Katie) Gallo & her husband Doug Howie and Dennis Gallo and her adorable great grandchild, Owen. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Edwin and Robert Buddenhagen and her sister, Diane Buddenhagen.
Friends are invited to greet her family on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield. Burial will be private.
