Obituary: Patrick T. Power, 54; Longtime Fairfield Resident
A talented athlete, Pat enjoyed playing football and baseball when growing up. Pat, a Fairfield Prep graduate, also served as a local umpire

Patrick T. Power, 54, a longtime resident of Fairfield, more recently of Beacon Falls, passed away on September 17, 2016 while in Cancun, Mexico with family.
Pat's memory will be cherished by his daughters, Jordan Chernes, and her husband Josh Chernes of Stratford, Paige Power her fiancé Andrew Heredia of Fairfield and his youngest daughter Shayne Power of Fairfield; the loving mother of his children Julie Power Delmonico of Fairfield; his Grandson Carter Heredia; his sister Nora Warren of Fairfield and her children, Erin, Tara, and Michael; his loving companion Robin Ashe of Beacon Falls and her children; two aunts, Gail Tarczali and her husband Edward, Elizabeth Power, all of Fairfield; many cousin and dear friends. Pat was predeceased by his parents, William and Hazel Muldoon Power, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A talented athlete, Pat enjoyed playing football and baseball when growing up. He graduated from Fairfield Prep in 1980, and later from Roger Williams College. He was an engineer for SNET until retiring.
In keeping with his love for sports, Pat also served as an umpire locally. He relished time spent with his family and friends, always promoting a good laugh. He enjoyed body surfing at the beach, an occasional visit to the casinos, and the opportunity to help those in need, especially people on their personal path to recovery.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. His memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
