Paul Andrew Eles, 76, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully at Saint Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport early Tuesday morning, March 7, 2023.

Paul was born on August 17, 1946 in Bridgeport to Paul Eles, Jr. and Margaret Menyhert Eles. He spent the earliest part of his childhood in a residence on Andover Street before the family moved to Fairfield. Paul graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School, Fairfield, in 1964 and from the University of Bridgeport in 1968 with an associate degree in arts. He led a successful, early career as a freelance graphic designer and then sold cars before taking on a role as a custodian in the Fairfield Public School system, a job that enabled him to retire and devote full energy to his lifelong passion of fishing.

He was predeceased by his father, Paul (1982), and his mother, Margaret (2000). He is survived by two sons, Clayton Eles, and his wife, Felicity, of Hamden and Mark Eles, of Fairfield; and his former spouse, Christel Ray Eles, of Fairfield.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center with a prayer service taking place at 2:00 p.m.
