Obituary: Robert ‘Bobby’ Chizmazia Jr., 24, of Fairfield
He had his mom's love for animals & was always helping stray dogs get homes. He will forever be remembered for his warm & loving personality

Robert "Bobby" Chizmazia Jr., 24, of Fairfield, passed away on June 24, 2018 in Bridgeport Hospital.
Bobby's memory will be lovingly embraced by family and friends including his father, Robert Chizmazia, Sr., and Heidi Mendes, of Westfield, MA; his sister, Casey Chizmazia; his younger brother, Jack LaFontaine; uncles, Glen Chizmazia, of Milford, and Jack Chizmazia, of NH. He was predeceased by his mother, Ann Tallon Chizmazia; both grandmothers, Jean Chizmazia and Nancy Tallon; one uncle, Francis Tallon.

Growing up in Fairfield, Bobby attended Holy Family Elementary School and Fairfield High School, where he made many friends. After graduating, he worked for Harry Thommen Welding Company. Bobby loved playing hockey from his early youth through high school. He enjoyed attending New York Rangers games with his dad. He also played football for high school. He had his mom's love for animals and was always helping stray dogs get homes. Bobby cherished spending time with his two loves, Valerie Gilbert, and his dog Timmy. He had a great love for music, and attended many concerts and festivals. Bobby will forever be remembered for his warm and loving personality.
