Obituary: Robert D. Stackpole, 61; Lifelong Fairfield Resident
"Stack" worked in carpentry until retirement. He loved nature and animals and especially enjoyed spending time at South Benson Marina.

Robert D. Stackpole, 61, of Fairfield, died peacefully at St. Vincent’s Medical Center Sunday, November 27, 2016 with his loving wife, Cynthia, and family by his side.
Born in Bridgeport, Robert was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Stackpole. In addition to his loving wife and best friend, Cindy, he is survived by his sisters, Shirley Dizenzo and her husband Sam, Gerry Saxonmeyer and her husband Chuck, a brother, Frank Nagy, a sister-in-law, Linda Nagy, many beloved nieces and nephews, and a large extended family. He was predeceased by his brother Ron Nagy and a nephew Sammy Dizenzo.

Robert “Stack” was a life-long Fairfield resident. He worked in carpentry until his time of retirement. He loved nature and animals. He especially enjoyed spending time at South Benson Marina.
The family is planning a private celebration of his life at South Benson Marina. Contributions in memory of Robert D.
