Obituary: Robert E. Lee Sr., 65, Lifelong Fairfield Resident
Bob, an Andrew Warde High School graduate, grew up racing quarter midget race cars and was a big car racing fan in general.

Robert E. Lee, Sr., 65, a lifelong resident of Fairfield, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, October 6, 2016. He was born in Bridgeport to the late Henry and Florence Lee.
Bob graduated from Andrew Warde High School in 1969. He grew up racing quarter midget race cars and was a big car racing fan in general. He loved the New York Yankees and San Diego Chargers and was a great bowler. He made many good friends during his years at the Connecticut Post and while working with the Monroe Board of Education. He retired in 2003.

Bob is survived by his two sons, Robert E. Lee, Jr. of Shelton and Henry Lee and his wife Ashley of Naugatuck. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Robert E. Lee, III and Dylan and Kaia Lee, all of Shelton and Harper Lee of Naugatuck; as well as his lifelong friend, Mary Beth Allen of Fairfield and former wife and lifelong friend, Lynn Medoff of Shelton; and his beloved dog, Roscoe.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Fairfield. Interment will be private.
