The following obituary of Fairfield resident Robert F. DiStasi, 81, is from Spear-Miller Funeral Home:

Robert F. DiStasi, 81, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital on February 25, 2023. Bob was born in Bridgeport on October 15, 1941 to the late Frank and Marie D’Addario DiStasi.

Bob was a man of many talents and worked at several different restaurants in his lifetime. He enjoyed playing the piano at private parties, and surrounding himself with people. He was a longtime employee of Patrick Baker & Sons providing exceptional customer service. His greatest joy was being around his family.

Bob is survived by his devoted sister,Kathleen (Tony) Mastronardi, his nephews; Michael and Christopher and their families, his nieces, Alyssa DiStasi Polazza (Mike), their son, Vincent, and Alexandra DiStasi; and his brothers, Francis DiStasi of Scituate, MA, and William DiStasi.
