Obituary: Roy A. Jann Jr.; Formerly Of Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — Roy Allen Jann Jr., of N. Dighton, MA, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2020 at Dana Farber Medical Center, Boston, MA. Born in Davenport, Iowa November 11, 1957 the eldest son of seven children of the late Roy A. Jann Sr. and Norma Felvey Jann of Fairfield, CT. He attended Andrew Warde HS in Fairfield, CT and Providence College, Providence, RI. He worked in the Insurance Industry most of his life and most recently was President of his own Agency, B Well Insurance in East Providence, RI.

A dedicated and loving Father to his four children, Kelleigh Marquard, her husband Rich, Samantha Jann, Dylan Jann and sadly pre‐deceased by his son Roy A. Jann III. He has three beautiful grandchildren; Lexi, Max and Shaela Marquard. He is also honored and leaves behind his blended family with Tricia Brisette of RI, her three daughters; Christy, Laura and Lindsey, as well as Lisa Jann, mother of Samantha and Dylan of RI. Last but not least, his six siblings; Lynn Beyrent of ME, Christy Jann Ryan of Fairfield CT, Carol Jann Sharpe and husband Michael Sharpe of Westport, CT, Michael Jann and wife Michele of West Lake Village, CA, Lisa Jann Lantagne, and husband Steve of Plymouth, MA, Terrance Jann and wife Corinne of Westford, MA, 16 nieces and nephews; Wesley Beyrent and Jenna Benson, Caitlin, Erin and Connor Ryan III, Michael, Christopher and David Sharpe, Melissa and Max Jann, Leslie, Julia and B.J. Murphy, Alyssa, T.J. and Ryan Jann and countless friends and relatives.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 8 at: His Providence Church, 262 Swansea Mall Drive Swansea, MA 02777 at 2 p.m. Those who desire, may make contributions in his honor to:
