Obituary: Sebastian Bastidas, 31
Bastidas graduated Magna Cum Laude of his class at Fairfield Prep before pursuing his passion of becoming a videogame creator.
Sebastian Bastidas, 31, of Bridgeport, passed away on Dec. 1, 2021, at his home due to kidney failure. He was born in Norwalk, Oct. 20, 1990, to Mario Bastidas and Jenny Garcia.
After graduating as Magna Cum Laude of his class at Fairfield Prep, Salutatorian of his class at Our Lady of Assumption, also he was inducted to the National Honor Society, he pursued his passions of becoming a videogame creator. Sebastian enjoyed playing video games, collecting action figures, watching DC comic book movies, and, of course, his favorite — James Bond. Sebastian was a die-hard Miami Heat Fan. He found joy in watching soap operas with his mother and his long talks with his father.

His greatest passion was his time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters: Jennifer Leso and Francesca Bastidas. His three nephews: Alejandro Campos, Noah Campos and Nicholas Leso.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Dec. 9 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Fairfield. Burial followed in Lawncroft Cemetery. A visitation was held at Spear Miller Funeral Home in Fairfield. Sign Sebastian’s guestbook at www.spearfuneralhome.com.
