Theresa Ann Draskovics Feranec, age 101, of Fairfield, devoted wife of the late Andrew M. Feranec, passed away peacefully at Saint Vincent's Medical Center on March 3, 2023, with her daughter Marilyn at her side.

Born in Bridgeport on June 15, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Fercsak Draskovics. A woman of many talents, Theresa worked at several different jobs in her lifetime. She loved to read, but above all else, delighted in time spent with her family. She was a woman of great faith who loved her church. She was awarded the Saint Augustine Medal of Service for her countless volunteer hours at Holy Cross.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially by her loving children, Marilyn, Michael (Laurie), and Sandra, her cherished grandchildren, Alyssa (Chris), and Andrew (Leigh), her great grandchild, Hadley, her nieces Beverly and Kathy, as well as many other nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her five sisters, Mary, Ann, Julie, Grace, and Rose. Her family would like to thank the ER doctors and nurses for their kindness to Theresa.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Funeral services will take place on Thursday 930 AM in the funeral home and 1030 AM in Holy Cross Church, with her interment to follow in Lawncroft Cemtery.
