Obituary: Vivian Alice Duncan, 60, of Fairfield

She was a graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School and was employed as a Special Education teacher's aide in both Fairfield and Westport.

Vivian Alice Duncan, 60, of Fairfield, beloved wife and best friend of the late William Paul Duncan, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in her home. Born in Bridgeport, Vivian had been a lifelong Fairfield resident. She was a graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School and was employed as a Special Education teacher’s aide in both Fairfield, at Roger Ludlowe and Westport at Staples High School.

Vivian loved spending time at Pine Creek with her husband, family and friends and considered herself a proud “Creeker.” She enjoyed working in her garden and creating jewelry. Her free spirited nature will be missed by all who loved her.

Survivors include her beloved mother, Vivian Robertsen Jones of Florida; three beloved children, Vivian Alice Duncan (Tristan Wallace) of Shelton, William Paul Duncan II of Fairfield and Ashley Lynn Nadeau and her husband Jordan of Stratford; three cherished grandchildren, Tristan (TD) and Emily Wallace and Adelynn Nadeau; three siblings, Thomas Jones and Nancy Seaman of Florida and Jill Popowich of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her loving husband Bill she was predeceased by her father, Robert Jones and two brothers, Robert and Timothy Jones. A Memorial service will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. at First Church Congregational, Fairfield with the Rev. David Spollett officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Church Congregation 148 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT 06824.
