William B. Allinger Jr., 61, the beloved son of Mary Allinger and the late William B. Allinger Sr., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, following an extended illness.

Bill was a graduate of Stamford High School and an inspector for many years at Illinois Tool Works. He was a talented poker player and qualified for the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Bill also enjoyed golfing and time he spent in California. He had a great sense of humor and always made his family and friends laugh and smile.

He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Allinger of Fairfield; his sister, Mary Ann Clow of Bridgeport; his brother, Sean Allinger of Waterbury; his aunt, Bridget Moore O’Grady of London; niece Tracy Clow Phelan; and close family members Maureen Ferro of Monroe, Eileen Greco and Ann Dreschler of California, and Pat Lucadamo of Stamford. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, James.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
