Obituary: William 'Bill' Wright, 84, Of Fairfield

William "Bill" Wright, 84, of Fairfield, died peacefully on July 23, 2023.

Born in 1939 in Orlando, Florida, to Ed and Louella Wright, William or Bill, as his friends and family knew him, enjoyed painting, and was an avid fisherman in his free time. William obtained his engineering degree from Georgia Tech; he would later go on to work as an industrial engineer with Chem-tex, Inc. Bill married the love of his life, Lynn, in 1975. They had one child, David Wright and two children from his previous marriage, Allen Wright and Heidi Wright Black.

Bill is survived by his wife, Lynn Wright; daughter, Heidi Black; son, Allen Wright, and son, David Wright; his brother, Edward Wright; granddaughters, Ryan, Allie, and Melissa; a grandson, Ben; and great-grandchildren, Alina, Alice, Cole, and Evelyn. William is pre-deceased by his mother and father, Edward & Louella Wright.

William's services will be held privately.
