Open MINDS Institute of Fairfield U Announces Six Free Seminars
A new season of interactive virtual seminars on a range of topics includes publishing, music, religion, history, and art.

FAIRFIELD, CT – Fairfield University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts has announced a new season of interactive virtual seminars on a range of topics — including publishing, music, religion, history, and art — through its Open MINDS Institute.
A dynamic “classroom without walls,” the Open MINDS Institute (OMI) is designed to “encourage community cross-conversations and informed, civil dialogue,” according to program director and Fairfield University Professor Philip Eliasoph, PhD. Dr. Eliasoph recommends OMI classes for anyone interested in “getting in on these lively exchanges with other intellectually and creatively informed community members.”
In February and March, OMI will offer six free, hour-long classes, each led by master instructors in their chosen fields. There is no registration required, and all spring 2021 OMI seminars are free and open to the public. Mark your calendar for Wednesdays at 1 p.m. on the following dates, and join us for a unique interactive virtual experience:
