Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

I have been standing on the sidelines to long. I have watched changes to the Town that I don't believe are in the best interest of the citizens of our town. I want to help make sure that Fairfield will remain the vibrant and successful town it was when I moved in 25 years ago.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is \_\_\_, and this is what I intend to do about it.

the Town budget and how our money is spent. As an accountant/tax attorney I intend to review every line item of the town budget to help determine if that is a dollar well spent. The question I will be asking is, does this expenditure advance the needs of the town and if not why is it included and how can those funds be better allocated.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I believe what sets me apart is my experience in budgeting and my understanding of the Law. This post will require an understanding of financial matters as well as legal matters, such as, the encroachment by the State through the use of 8-30(G) to try and usurp the Town's authority regarding zoning issues. Being a resident of Fairfield for 25 years I am deeply committed to making sure this town remains the wonderful and highly desirable town it has always been.

If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?

The current officeholder is with the Democratic party which seems to do nothing for this town but block legislation and make our Town Selectwoman's job harder. The current officeholder is more interested in scoring points against Brenda then supporting the needs of our constituents

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

I intend to address maintaining stable tax rates, continued investment in public safety and infrastructure, support for neighborhood schools and tax relief and expanded services for seniors

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

During my career I have created and managed budgets for multiple businesses. I worked both in building teams and working as part of them. I was a small business owner in this town for many years and understand what a business has to go through in order to succeed. This insight will help me make sure we do everything we can to help the businesses in our Town grow.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Don't complain from the sidelines, get in the game.
