I have a small family and many friends.
Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No.
Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?
Yes. I have been on the Fairfield RTM since 2016.
Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
I feel it is my duty to bring what I have learned from my experience serving on the RTM to the present and future challenges our town faces.
Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is \_\_\_, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Economic, and I intend to try and keep Fairfield livable for current families.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I do not adhere to any party agenda. I follow the promptings of my conscience.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Safety; Support for Law Enforcement; Zoning; Public Health that includes informed consent; Neighborhood Concerns, Support for Neighborhood Schools, Etc.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Public Speaking experience in the Arts and as Educator; Leadership (Non-Profit, Education, and Religious); Advocacy for Religious Freedoms.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Be like a Swan: grace on the surface, while you paddle like crazy under the water.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I try to get along with people. I defected from the Democratic Party before the 2020 election, but I still have many Dem friends that I respect and like. Really feel it's time to get past partisanship and protect our town and the future of our children.
