My husband, Peter, is an educator with Westport Public Schools.My daughter, Sarah, age 27, is studying to be a Physician Assistant. My eldest daughter, Emma, passed away in 2009.

No
Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
As a 29 year resident of Fairfield, I want to step up to serve the town that I have called home and raised my family. If elected, I want to be accessible to my constituents and listen to and represent their ideas and concerns as decisions are being made by the RTM. I think our elected leaders need to be able to listen to and respect diverse perspectives and always conduct themselves with integrity and civility.

Safety and sustainability, both financial and environmental, are key issues for our community. If elected, I will ensure that these issues receive the time and attention they deserve.

I have the education, experience and relationships to effectively represent my district.

You can't make a difference by standing on the sidelines.
