Pedestrian Hit By Train In Fairfield: Police
Fairfield and Metropolitan Transportation Authority police responded to the incident.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Police were on scene at the Fairfield Metro Station after a pedestrian was struck by a train, Fairfield police posted on Facebook about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Fairfield and Metropolitan Transportation Authority police responded to the incident at the station, 300 Ash Creek Blvd. Trains on the New Haven Line experienced delays for several hours as a result of the crash, but were running on schedule by 10:30 p.m., the Metro-North Railroad tweeted.
