The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Maintaining the quality of our Fairfield Public Schools by ensuring the needs of students are prioritized throughout the year and especially during the annual budget season.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
My background as a career YMCA Director, and past service m government elected positions makes me uniquely qualified to have respectful debate on tough questions, and while aiming at a good outcome for all.
Accomplishments:
Leadership Team of Fairfield CARES Past Chair, Fairfield BOE Past member of Rye, NY School Board Past member, Northampton County, and PA Council Justice of the Peace
Other issues:
Fiscal Responsibility - ensure the implementation of balanced operating budgets, well-managed capital budgets, and fully fund long term costs such as pension. Quality Public Schools - invest wisely to serve diverse needs of students, attract new residents, and maintain property values and recruit quality teachers and staff. Healthy Communities - putting the needs of our citizens ahead of party politics and work across the aisle to create a strong Fairfield.
