PHOTOS: A Spooktacular Halloween Home In The Fairfield Beach Area

Longtime beach area residents Jeannie and Mark Finlay spend days each year decorating their home for Halloween.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Halloween is serious business for one Fairfield family.

Longtime beach area residents Jeannie and Mark Finlay have been going all out for the holiday for decades, spending days each year making their home in the 100 block of Penfield Road a spooky spectacle. With ghosts, mummies, skeletons and much more, there was no shortage of scares Sunday on the family's beach area lawn-turned-graveyard.

This year, in light of the coronavirus pandemic, the Finlays constructed a device to deliver candy to trick-or-treaters from a safe distance, with the treats shooting down a tube and out the mouth of a skull at the base of the porch.
