“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to provide quality care in my hometown,” said Petrosino. “Fairfield is an amazing community that I’ve grown to love more and more as I’ve met neighbors and friends, participated in community service events and had my two children in the school system. I can’t wait to establish my practice here as well and give back to the community in the best way I know how – providing physical therapy that allows people to live pain free.”

A physical therapist for over 23 years, Petrosino received a bachelor of science in physical therapy from Louisiana State University and a master of health sciences in physical therapy from the University of Indianapolis. She also boasts an extensive repertoire of training and certifications that enables her to provide patients with a variety of treatment options. She is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist, certified orthopedic manual therapist, certified astym provider, certified functional movement screen provider, and certified selective functional movement assessment provider. She also has earned a certification in trigger point dry needling, an innovative treatment for muscle pain and other issues, and specializes in temporomandibular dysfunction, pain and dysfunction in the jaw and temporomandibular joints.

“Rebecca is the perfect example of PTSMC’s values,” he said. “Rebecca has been a therapist for over 23 years and strives to constantly provide her patients with an unmatched experience, including treatment plans tailored to each individual patient’s needs. She is the ideal person to open a clinic in Fairfield, not only because of her ability as a therapist, but because she cares about the community.”
