Police Commission Approves Plan to Expand Parking for Little League Field

The Fairfield Police Commission unanimously approved a project to convert the current Y intersection into a T intersection at Farist Road and Stillson Road to ease traffic and slightly expand current Little League parking lot.

The current island will be removed/relocated and traffic will be rerouted to the south side of Farist Road at Stillson Road, according to the minutes of last week’s meeting. The north side of Farist Road, which adjoins the baseball field, will be used to increase parking.

Commissioner Walter Flynn noted that the cost of the project would be in next year’s budget.
