“Pure Imagination” May 5th Gala

Indulge in a Night of Pure Imagination
with Wine and Chocolate Galore!

WESTON, CT – The New Paradigm Theatre Company (NPT) will present their annual Gala with the theme: PURE IMAGINATION, to compliment their summer production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The Gala will feature wine and chocolate pairings at Emmanuel Church banquet hall (285 Lyons Plain Rd) on SUNDAY, May 5, 2024, from 4 - 6 p.m.

The event is a themed-fundraiser to support NPT’s summer production. It includes scrumptious desserts, wine pairings with chocolate, and tasty charcuterie. Silent auction items will be on display while you sip your way through our “sweet” world of Pure Imagination. Guests also will be delighted by the entertainment provided by Broadway professionals, local actors and NPT youth.

This year’s honorees are John and Desolie Boys who are longtime supporters of NPT and its mission. “We are very touched to be honored by The New Paradigm Theatre. We joined Emmanuel Church over 30 years ago and when it was my turn to work in the Vestry, the opportunity arose to reach out to a group who could make good use of our new Hall. Rev Katy and I were delighted to support NPT due to the beautiful work they do in teaching young people the disciplines of theatre and how those skills apply to the real world”, says John. John worked in International Banking and Desolie, his wife, traveled extensively before settling down in Westport, Connecticut. They have seen and supported every show that NPT has produced since 2016.

NPT Literacy-themed partner non profits for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Rise to Read, Dolly's Imagination Library and the Stratford Library, will also speak at the Gala.

All ticket sales and auction proceeds will go toward the cost of NPT’s summer educational experience and scholarships for in need youth. Tickets are $50 and available for purchase online (encouraged!) or at the door.
