Racially Charged Graffiti Found on Fairfield Building

Police were notified and are monitoring the situation.

Fairfield police were notified after racially charged graffiti was found spray painted on the vacant Stratfield Market Building.

News12 reports the graffiti was found Sunday morning and depicted a swastika, the letters KKK, with the words “white lives matter” written on the side of the building.

Fairfield Police Lt. James Perez told NBC Connecticut that people have a right to express thoughts, but they become concerned when it becomes a threat to an individual or group and police will continue to monitor the situation.
