The Rays, representing Fairfield American, defeated the Country Cow Deli A's of Fairfield National, 14-4, on Sunday to win the town Little League majors championship and complete an undefeated season.
The contest pitted the winners of Fairfield's two Little Leagues.
Starter Nick Nardone allowed only one hit over four innings and also belted a three-run home run in the fifth for the Rays, who finished the season with a record of 21-0-1.

It was Nardone's 13th homer of the season. John Annuzzi smacked a two-run homer for the Rays, also in the fifth.
Nate Klein pitched the final inning for the Rays, surrendering three runs.

Drew Speckman, who pitched for the Country Cow Deli A's, drilled a three-run shot in the bottom of the fifth to account for the final score.
The other players on the Rays include: Nick Conzelman, Connor Daley, Gabe Dumoulin, Harry Graham, Sean Gutierrez, Matt Kubel, Tommy Malone, Sam Nardone and Jack West.
