Lola "Nicki" Crosley, age 88, of Fairfield, died on June 1, 2026; she worked as a secretary in the Town of Fairfield Fire Marshal's Office and was known for her sharp sense of humor, storytelling, and devotion to watching her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter grow.
Theodore J. Merrill, 76, died May 9, 2026; an educator and coach, he taught drafting, architecture, modeling and other courses in Fairfield schools, pioneered technical advances in the classroom, earned state and national recognition, and coached soccer, baseball, swimming, wrestling and basketball teams to multiple conference and state championships.

Donna Lee D’Addario, 87, of Fairfield, died June 5, 2026; a longtime nursery school employee and member of Black Rock Congregational Church, she worked at McKesson & Robbins and later at Black Rock Nursery School for 17 years, enjoyed cooking, baking, writing poetry, crafting, hospitality, and traveling, published the family history book Bessie Wheeler Gay—Her Story, and was active with the Fairfield Police Wives Association in sending care packages to deployed service members.
Henry Maas, 96, of Fairfield, died May 31, 2026; a longtime restaurant professional who worked at the Hotel St. George and the Oak Room, he enjoyed meeting people, helping others, cycling his blue cruiser bike to the beach and around the neighborhood, and spent his later years at Sullivan-McKinney Elder Housing, where he formed many friendships.

John Ross, 79, of Fairfield, died June 6, 2026; he was the husband of the late Kathleen (Deenihan) Ross and the late Susan (Collica) Ross, a Harding High School graduate who spent his career at Norwalk Hospital as Director of MIS, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Linda A. Ennis, 70, of Fairfield, died May 21, 2026; a registered nurse whose career included cardiac care, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, and home health care, she was devoted to nursing and also enjoyed horses, farm life, travel throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Nova Scotia—especially Cape Breton Island—and caring for her many cats; she is survived by her husband of 47 years, Mark Ennis.
Fred J. Coseglia, 94, of Southport, died June 5, 2026; a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus who served as Grand Knight of Assumption Council 11077 and led its Memorial Day Remembrance Service for more than 30 years, and a longtime Moran Towing Corporation employee, he enjoyed spending time at his lakeside home in Maine and became an award-winning baker, winning first prize in a local apple pie contest for six consecutive years; he was predeceased by his wife, Margaret, and brother, Patrick Coseglia.
John J. Bajoros, 85, of Fairfield, died on May 21, 2026; a U.S. Navy veteran, former owner of Waters Television, and employee of Westfair TV before his retirement, he was also a founding elder and worship leader at Word of God Christian Church for 25 years, an accomplished singer known as “Henry,” and enjoyed spending much of his time with his church community.
