Registration Under Way for 3rd Annual Only You 5K Run in Fairfield

Registration is under way for the 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk for Only You, which is set for Sept. 19 at Jennings Beach in Fairfield.

The run benefits the Only You foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization started by Mike and Kelly Fedak to honor the memory of their son Mikey. Mikey had special needs and passed away unexpectedly in April 2013 at the age of 10.

Important Notes for this year’s race:

• Register before July 31 and take advantage of Early Bird Special discounted Race Fees.
• Sign up as a “Fundraiser” and we’ll waive your race fee (minimum $50 in donations).
• This year, we have also have a “Virtual 5K” to make it easier for those who can’t be here but want to do the run closer to home. We will send you a race shirt and medal the week of the race.
• Consider a “Family Sponsorship”. With a minimum donation of $100 you receive an Only You car magnet and have your family name printed on the back of this year’s race shirt.
