Fairfield police arrested a Bridgeport teen on gun charges after he was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun while sitting in a car in a commuter parking lot early Monday morning, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports Markis Jean-Rene, 18, didn’t have a permit for the gun, which was loaded with five live rounds and had the hammer cocked.
The gun was discovered during a pat down of Jean-Rene’s front pocket by an officer who was patrolling the commuter parking lot on Johnson Drive around 1:45 a.m. on Monday, according to the Citizen.
