Resident’s Identity Stolen In iPhone Scam: Fairfield Police
A man is accused of stealing a Fairfield resident's identity to fraudulently purchase nearly $2,400 worth of iPhones, according to police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Pennsylvania man is accused of stealing a Fairfield resident’s identity to purchase nearly $2,400 worth of iPhones, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports Gabriel Rosario, 33, is accused of impersonating a Verizon Wireless representative to acquire the victim’s account and personal information over the phone.
After Verizon reported two iPhones were fraudulently purchased, police saw Rosario attempt to take the phones that had been delivered to the victim’s address by FedEx, according to the Citizen.
