Santa Will Return To Downtown Fairfield Sunday In Firetruck

FAIRFIELD, CT — After two long years, Santa will make his return to Fairfield this weekend.

The man himself will arrive 10 a.m. Sunday by hook-and-ladder firetruck down Reef Road. He will be available for all Fairfield children on the nice list until 2 p.m. at the Sherman Green gazebo, where he will hear holiday wishes. Santa’s elves will give each child a small plush holiday toy, sponsored by Choice Pet.

Horse-and-wagon rides will be offered for $1. DJ Scott Nickel will provide holiday music. Face painting will be offered by a local Girl Scout troop.

Fairfield Theater Company will be showing "Home Alone" in its Warehouse, 70 Sanford St. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. and the film starts at 2 p.m. Admission is $5 per ticket.

The chamber has also invited nonprofit organizations to set up tables on the green.
