FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield schools will be closed Friday due to snowfall in the forecast, according to police. The town is expected to see up to 7 inches of snow accumulation in the overnight and morning hours Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Friday's closure is the second the school district has had this week, after school was called off Wednesday due to dangerously icy roads.
