Scout Makes Massive Donation To Fairfield Animal Control
The Boy Scout made such a large donation of food, beds and toys that the agency is sharing the items with other Fairfield County rescues.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A local Boy Scout recently collected items to help animals in need have a more comfortable life in Fairfield.
Christopher Rice made the donation Saturday to the Fairfield Animal Control shelter as part of his Eagle Scout project.
“There are so many items (food, toys, treats, beds, etc.) that we will be calling other nearby towns to share Christopher’s donations,” Fairfield Animal Control said in a Facebook post, which included a photo of a massive pile of food, beds and more, which Rice brought to the shelter. “Thank you, Christopher and good luck with your Eagle Scout project.”
