Screening Of Fairfield Resident's Animated Holiday Film On Sunday

FAIRFIELD, CT — "SantaMan," an animated family holiday movie directed by Fairfield resident Bret Stern, will be screened at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Sacred Heart University Community Theater in Fairfield, according to organizers.

Tickets are free for students, and $12 for adults; click here to purchase.

A Q&A session with Stern, who owns Sono Studios in Norwalk, will follow the screening. Sono Animation Studios, a subsidiary of Sono Studios, produced the film.

From the film's description:

Fed up with the growing number of "Naughty-Listers," Santa becomes a superhero dubbed Santaman. Donning a new red suit and a buffet of gadgets that rivals "Batman," Santa sets out to turn those bad apples into do-gooders. His mission proves to be much harder than anticipated after discovering an evil plot to end Christmas all together. With the help of two children who stowed away on his sleigh, Santa and his new friends must find a way to stop the ultimate "Naughty-Lister" before Christmas disappears forever.

The film features performances by DC Douglas, John Viener and Beau Marie.

Stern is a veteran television, commercial and film director with more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry.
