Police release surveillance videos, ask public for help with identifying suspect.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Police are continuing to search for the suspect who robbed the Key Bank, located at 1731 Post Road, last week and released surveillance videos on Wednesday to assist with the search (see the videos at the end of this article). Police are asking anyone with any information to contact them. The robbery occurred at about 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 7.
The suspect (pictured) entered the store and passed the clerk a note that indicated that he was committing a robbery, according to Lt. Robert Kalamaras. The suspect left out the back door of the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk called police immediately after the robbery occurred.
Kalamaras said nobody at the scene was injured and the incident was captured on surveillance cameras within the store.
