Serial Fairfield Gas Station Robber Arrested: PD

FAIRFIELD, CT — Police have arrested the suspect in four recent gas station robberies that occurred in Fairfield.

Police announced that William Mellen, 24, of Easton was arrested April 16 by warrant for four counts of first-degree robbery and four counts of sixth-degree larceny.

A knife-wielding suspect robbed the Mobil Gas Station on Stratfield Road twice at knife-point. The most recent robbery was April 1.

The Star Gas Station on Jennings Road was robbed on March 25 and Feb. 11.

Mellen was held on $250,000 bail.
