Several Vehicles Stall During Storm In Fairfield
Police are advising motorists to not drive through standing water on the roads.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Police warned motorists not to drive through standing water after several vehicles were stalled during Tuesday night’s rain. Police responded to five vehicles that stalled in standing water as of 11 p.m.
“Standing water in a roadway may not appear as deep as it is,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH IT! You will get stuck.”
Police shared a photo of the standing water on Kings Highway East at Chambers Street.
