Shot Fired During Dispute At Bowling Alley In Fairfield: Police
Police say a man fired a shot at an occupied car in the parking lot during a dispute with another man that began inside the bowling alley.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested after police say he fired a gunshot at an occupied vehicle during a dispute in the Nutmeg Bowl parking lot on Saturday afternoon. Fairfield Police responded to a 911 call at the Nutmeg Bowl, located at 802 Villa Avenue, at about 12 noon on March 31.
Police said an argument between Jose Maldonado and another man occurred inside the bowling alley and both men made threats to each other before going outside to the parking lot. While in the parking lot, one man may have attempted to strike the other with his car and Maldonado fired a shot at the car in the process, according to Lt. Robert Kalamaras. No one was injured during the incident.
Kalamaras said police located a bullet hole in the rear driver side door of the vehicle along with a spent shell casing that matched “a pistol that was located in a vehicle of one of the subjects involved.”
