Snow Emergency Declared In Fairfield
A snow emergency has been declared for the evacuation routes in the beach area, according to Fairfield Police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Due to the change in forecast, a snow emergency has been declared for the evacuation routes in the beach area, according to Fairfield Police. Beginning at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, parking restrictions will go into effect on the following streets:
Reef Road, Fairfield Beach Road, Rowland Road, Penfield Road, and Beach Road.
Parking is prohibited on these streets until the Department of Public Works completes its snow removal operations, according to police. Residents are reminded that Veterans Park and Penfield Pavilion are available for overnight parking.
