Stabbing At Restaurant Details Called Into Question: Fairfield PD

Police are continuing to investigate the reported stabbing of an employee outside of a restaurant in Fairfield earlier this year.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Police are continuing to investigate a reported stabbing that occurred outside of a restaurant in Southport in February, but details of the incident have been called into question, according to the Connecticut Post. Police responded to Paci Restaurant, located at 96 Station St., on Feb. 11 after an employee told police that she was taking the garbage out to the dumpster when she was grabbed from behind and struck several times in the face.

The victim told police that after she was hit in the face, she was stabbed with an unknown object in the abdomen, police previously said in a press release. The suspect was described by the victim as a tall white male wearing a black hat, a scarf, and a black jacket. The victim did not recognize the suspect as someone she knew, according to police.

The Post reports that police have not been able to corroborate the incident as it was described and they are awaiting lab results for more information regarding the case.
