About The Session :
Actors are being asked to send in their self-taped auditions more and more now and they are becoming more empowered and self-sufficient by learning how to tape their auditions. But do yourself a favor and make sure you do it well – taping your audition on your laptop should be a last resort. Make sure to show yourself at your best. Lighting, sound, good quality video and a talented reader will help make your audition as great as it should be.

Renée Lawless, known best for her portrayal of the matriarchal powerhouse, Katheryn Cryer on Tyler Perry’s “The Haves and the Have Nots” is an accomplished theatrical actress and singer.
She self-tapes on a regular basis in LA and while shooting in Atlanta.
She was also seen in the Broadway National tour of Wicked, where she played the roles of the Midwife and Madame Morrible. Renée was also seen on Broadway and the National tour in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. She has performed in regional theaters around the country in the title role of Always ... Patsy Cline, Menopause... The Musical , My Fair Lady , Nine And Brigadoon to name a few. Her other TV and film credits include Heavens to Betsy (with Dolly Parton), The Lucky Ones and Bad Frank.
An avid crafter and Christmas decorator, Renée is also a frequent guest with her DIY projects on Hallmark Home and Family.

Renee has been singing in Church all her life. She recorded her first Gospel CD, Renee Lawless: A Live Sampler , in 2001. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Stetson University and her Master's Studies in Vocal Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

COST: Only $75 for the 3 hour class

We will accept the first 10 students who register. After May27th we will no longer accept registrations.

AGES: 8 -Adult (We are finding that all ages can take these classes together and learn. Parents may stay to learn)
