Strong To Severe Thunderstorms Possible In Fairfield County: NWS
The National Weather Service has issued a statement concerning the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms today.

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service is saying that strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in Fairfield County this afternoon. The weather service says, "Strong to locally severe thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and into this evening, mainly across the interior. Some of these storms may be capable of producing damaging winds and hail."
It appears New Jersey, Pennsylvania and parts of New York are expected to see the most severe weather today and that Fairfield County is right at the end of the line for possible severe weather.
No other county in Connecticut is expected to see severe thunderstorms today. It appears the biggest threat for thunderstorms is between 3 and 11 p.m.

Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Southwest wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. Northwest wind 11 to 16 mph.
