Subway Robbed At Gunpoint In Fairfield
The restaurant was robbed on Thursday night, according to police.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Subway Thursday night in Fairfield. Police received a 911 call from Subway, located at 709 Post Rd., at about 7:25 p.m. on May 2 reporting that an armed robbery had just occurred.
The suspect, described as a black male wearing a black beanie style hat, a dark-colored jacket and blue jeans, displayed a black firearm and took cash from the register, according to police. He was last seen running east on the Post Road.
Police said there were no injuries in the incident and the Fairfield Police Department Detective Bureau is currently investigating.
