Suspected Car Burglar Fights with Police, Gets Hit with Taser and Arrested: Report

FAIRFIELD, CT — A suspected car burglar is accused of being combative and fighting with police until he was hit with a Taser and taken into custody, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports Orlando Rodriguez, 22, of Bridgeport, was arrested Tuesday morning after an alert motorist followed a man he saw on a skateboard break a car window in the Planet Fitness parking lot and take a purse.

The motorist followed the skateboarder, later identified as Rodriguez, into Bridgeport where he was taken into custody after struggling with police.
