The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

The fiscal mismanagement of the previous Administration from the ongoing fill pile issue and the tremendous cost incurred to Fairfield taxpayers. If elected and I’m going to work cooperatively with my fellow RTM colleagues and in concert with the current First Selectwoman/ Board of Finance to implement tight fiscal controls that will ensure costs are reasonable for proper remediation in order to keep our residents safe. I will also work hard to maintain the Town’s current AAA bond rating status.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

In Fairfield and there are no laws in place that require minority representation per District on the RTM. There are currently 4 elected Democrats in my District. I believe a healthy balance of both parties is best when serving the community.

Accomplishments:

I have served as an appointed/ elected Official for nearly 16 years in the Towns of Trumbull and Fairfield. I also spent 33 years as a certified Program Coordinator for senior populations in the Town of Greenwich and so I’m fully versed in municipal dynamics. I studied Psychology at Fairfield University and hold several professional certifications in my field.

Other issues:

I fully support the renovation/ beautification of Lincoln Park and and the area known as “The Four Corners” in Fairfield’s Stratfield section of Town. I will fight hard for education funding and work hard to support/ secure grant funding for District projects.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I was a Park Leader at Lincoln Park in 1981, and spent many years with friends who resided in Stratfield. My husband Jack was raised on Benedict Ave. in District 4, and and spent many happy childhood years at Lincoln Park. Both of my parents were elected officials in Fairfield back in the ‘70’s/ 80’s. Our eldest son is raising his family nearby as well.
