Teens Arrested After Leading Police On Chase In Stolen Vehicle

The suspects led police on a chase through Fairfield after a resident reported seeing them entering vehicles during the overnight hours.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Three juveniles were arrested after leading police on a chase in a stolen vehicle through Fairfield into Bridgeport during the overnight hours on Sunday, according to the Connecticut Post. A fourth suspect wasn’t located by police.

The Post reports a resident alerted police to four suspects going through vehicles near Grasmere Avenue in Fairfield at about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday. The suspects were operating an SUV that had been stolen out of West Haven and eventually ran from the vehicle after it skidded out of control as it was heading into Bridgeport.

A gun was located on the ground just outside of the front passenger door, according to the Post. The suspects were all from the New Haven area.
