FAIRFIELD, CT — Two people were arrested after a “tense standoff” with police at gunpoint at a bank in Southport, according to multiple reports.

Police confronted one of the suspects, 46-year-old Carl Myers of Bridgeport, on Tuesday inside the Bankwell on Sasco Hill Road and Myers is accused of pulling out a gun, according to the Post.
