Three Fairfield Legion Players Chosen For Zone Four All-Star Game

Three Fairfield players - pitcher Jake Rosner, center fielder Tyler Colby and catcher Andrew Fitzsimmons - have been chosen to participate in the American Legion Zone Four Senior All-Star game on August 3.

Rosner (Warde) and Colby (Barlow) will be attending Salve Regina University in the fall while Fitzsimmons (Fairfield Prep)  is headed to the University of Rochester.

Colby led the team in hitting, while Fitzsimmons, Fairfield's starting catcher, ranked in the top five. Rosner posted a team-best ERA of 2.37.

Each of the 10 teams in zone four had three representatives picked for the All-Star game.
